Says Madhushree, “I love India and Vande Mataram used to play in my mind long after I heard since my childhood.
Everytime I hear the song, I get goosebumps.
This year, I decided that while in my heart I will always hear Lataji’s voice, I wanted to pay a tribute to the nation and The Nightingale of India.
I requested Robby Badal to think of a different composition and he came up with a beautiful melody.
I have rendered my voice to the sing with reverence and gratitude. Our Mother India has given us so much. I would like this dong to be a tribute to our nation and our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the occasion if our 75th Year of Independence, Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. This is my way of sending the strength of our Tirangaa to every household musically. Music has no borders abd through my tribute of Vande Mataram, I would like our National Flag to fly high in every Indian’s home and heart, the world over.”
Madhushree and Robby Badal along with arranged Sudip Ghose, have decided to give the song and video to any platform to freeplay copyrightfree.
“It is not our song. Vande Mataram is the anthem of the nation and we offer our humble tribute at the feet of our Mother India through this composition.”
